Take It Away, Inc. provides storage and related services to help our customers (“members”) manage the space in their homes and businesses and care for their belongings. We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our NOVA service team to build a sales pipeline and nurture customer relationships from prospects to happy members, so that we can grow profitably from both recurring storage fees and one-time service revenues.

What We’re Looking For:
Take It Away is hiring a Sales Associate to join our expanding team and accelerate revenue growth. Though there are many specific responsibilities we would like you to assume in this role–we’ve spelled them out below, for clarity’s sake–the real question in a high-growth company is “what won’t you do?” In this role, we will want you to focus on developing our sales pipeline and nurturing leads into qualified opportunities and closed deals that are both revenue enhancing and accretive to the bottom line. Sales Associates must develop a detailed understanding of Take It Away’s services and how to apply them to solve member problems while generating revenue and bottom line profit for Take It Away.
Business and Lead Development: Sales Associates must develop and maintain an active sales pipeline through networking and other business development efforts including attending Chamber of Commerce meetings and events, presenting at channel partner offices, and establishing relationships with new prospective partners.
Consultative Sales: Sales Associates must harvest the fruits of their business development efforts by translating contacts and relationships into qualified leads and closed deals that increase revenues and profits. This will entail “interviewing” prospects and members to understand their needs, and then developing plans to solve them effectively and profitably using one or more Take It Away services (storage, consignment sales, moving services, property donation, etc.).
Account Management: Sales Associates are the primary point of member contact, and must effectively and efficiently manage all customer and back office communications and processes.
Customer Satisfaction: Sales Associates are ultimately responsible for meeting customer service expectations, and are expected to exercise excellent judgment in solving member problems to achieve positive service reviews and referrals.

- You have consultative sales experience and success with high-end home services or similar offerings.
- You are an entrepreneur at heart and are excited to help build something from the ground up; you are motivated by both the intrinsic and extrinsic rewards of doing so.
- You are revenue-oriented, but understand that profitability is the ultimate measure of Take It Away’s success and will craft deals accordingly.
- While personally motivated and quota-driven, you realize that Take It Away is a team effort; you are a black belt collaborator.
